The Alfred Dewayne Brown Scholarship program

Dareus is a rising 2L at Wake Forest University School of Law. This summer he will be working with the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office in the Special Prosecution and Law Enforcement Section. Prior to entering law school, Dareus worked for two years in the Queen’s County District Attorneys Office in Queens, New York.

Tanner is a rising 2L at Wake Forest University School of Law. He will be working as a summer law clerk this summer for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington. Prior to law school Tanner worked as a federal police officer, and that experience showed him exactly why we need more accountable prosecutors in office. Tanner hopes to one day work as a federal prosecutor.
